Web Copywriting

Web and Traditional Copywriting:
It's The Same Difference

We take our copywriting service for traditional media and apply it to the web. Writing copy for the internet is based on the same foundation as traditional copywriting but with some significant differences.

Individuals need to be engaged quickly, entertained, and influenced in a shorter amount of time. Reading extensive copy online is not as enjoyable as in print.

Additionally, the web allows for copy with hyperlinks allowing for interactive copy. For example, we have a client who needed their professional biography updated for the web. In addition to the extensive editing, we also researched references that stood out and hyperlinked them in order to strengthen the credibility of the client.

The Web Opens More Doors for Copywriting

Writing copy for a website's product page is different than writing for a professional blog. The web is not only split between blogs and corporate pages. Writing for MySpace bulletins/comments/profiles, Facebook pages, PPC Ads, and Discussion Boards all require different approaches.
